As for electric equipment within the group called “means of communications”, the certification procedure has some important specifics. The differences with the certification of the means of communications in Ukraine are stipulated by the laws of Ukraine “On telecommunications” (No. 1280-IV dated 18.11.03) and “On radiofrequency resource of Ukraine” (No. 1770-III dated 01.06.00).

RES permission

The telecommunication means may be certified only by the certification bodies that are authorized to carry out such activity under order of the Transport and Communications Ministry of Ukraine, and radio-electronic means additionally by consent of the National Commission for Communications Regulation of Ukraine (NKRS)).

Radio frequency approval certification services refer to the process through which electronic devices, particularly those that emit radio frequency signals, are tested and certified to ensure compliance with regulatory standards set by governing bodies. These standards are put in place to ensure that devices do not interfere with other electronic equipment or communication systems, and that they operate within acceptable safety parameters.

Services that offer radio frequency approval certification typically include:

1. Testing: Comprehensive testing of electronic devices to ensure they comply with radio frequency emissions limits, as well as other relevant regulations such as electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and safety standards.

2. Documentation: Assistance in preparing the necessary documentation and technical files required for certification, including test reports, product specifications, and compliance declarations.

3. Regulatory Compliance: Guidance on navigating the complex regulatory landscape and ensuring that devices meet the requirements of regulatory bodies such as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States, the European Union’s CE marking directives, and similar agencies in other regions.

4. Certification Support: Assistance in submitting applications for certification and liaising with regulatory agencies to obtain the necessary approvals.

5. Consulting Services: Expert advice on design considerations and modifications needed to achieve compliance, as well as ongoing support to address any issues that may arise during the certification process.

Overall, radio frequency approval certification services play a crucial role in helping manufacturers bring their electronic devices to market by ensuring they meet the necessary regulatory requirements and standards for safe and reliable operation.
