Technical regulations and compliance with technical regulations

The most common and popular system of standards in the Russian Federation – the system of GOST R.

However, in accordance with the Federal law «On technical regulation» a reform is undergoing in Russia, in which framework the new codes of standards and technical regulations of are going to be accepted and they are called to harmonize Russian and international standards and improve competitiveness of domestic producers.

It is necessary to provide confirmation of products safety in compliance with the requirements of technical regulations. Voluntary certification will be held within the scope of the system of GOST .

What products need certification

 

Information from 18.04.2011: in accordance to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation,it defines a new list of products that shall be subject to mandatory certification, and the products, which compliance is held in the form of a Declaration. For the products, not specified elsewhere in these lists, certification and Declaration is a voluntary exercise.
