Like GOST R / CTR certificates, the DoC could be a “one-time shipment” type, i.e. related to a specific batch of goods to be supplied under a particular contract / invoice, or a “serial production” type with 1 to 5-year validity terms. The main difference between a GOST R and a CTR Certificate / DoC is that the latter could be issued to a legal entity registered in Customs Union only. So in case of exporting goods to Russia under a contract, a DoC may be issued in the name of your Russian customer only.

The Declaration of Conformity has almost the same function as GOST R / CTR certificate. It states that the goods listed in it indeed conform to GOST R/ TR CU requirements. A DoC is to be prepared by the Applicant, but should be approved by an accredited certification body, with reference to test report(s) performed by an accredited testing laboratory.

A Declaration of Conformity (DoC) to GOST standards is a document issued by a manufacturer or supplier indicating that their products comply with the relevant GOST standards. GOST standards are technical standards maintained by the Russian Federation, covering various products and processes.
The DoC typically includes the following information:
1. Identification of the product: This includes the name, model, and any other relevant identifiers for the product.
2. Reference to the applicable GOST standards: The document should specify which GOST standards the product conforms to. This may include standards related to quality, safety, performance, environmental impact, etc.
3. Information about the manufacturer or supplier: This includes the name, address, and contact information of the entity responsible for the product.
4. Date of issue: The date when the DoC was issued.
5. Signature and authority: The document should be signed by an authorized representative of the manufacturer or supplier, affirming that the information provided is accurate and that the product complies with the specified standards.
The DoC is an important document for demonstrating compliance with regulatory requirements in Russia and other countries that recognize GOST standards. It may be required for customs clearance, product registration, or other purposes related to the sale and distribution of the product.
